Abstract

During the life-long domination of the ruling Al Khalifa family, political protests against the government of Bahrain have a long history. Since the 2011 revolution of Bahrain, protest enters the new phase that appeared the people of Bahrain don’t hope for the successful political reforms. This article seeks to answer the question of what are the main reasons of failure of political reforms in Bahrain. In this article, we used the analytical method for the analyze of dictatorial political system, religious gaps, Saudi Arabia and other Persian gulf cooperation councils support of Bahrain regime. We analyse these factors as the main reason of defeat of political reform in Bahrain.
