Abstract

Objective: This Article aims to explain the security-Normative map of Nordic societies with Islamist in the region (including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland).
Method: This study is developmental, in terms of purpose, and descriptive-analytical, in terms of method, and survey, in terms of data collection.
Results: The conflict of identity-building norms of the Nordic Universal welfare state, including a specific type of nation-state norms, welfare state norms, gender equality norms, and globalization norms with the identity-building norms of Islamic groups such as divine sovereignty, Ummah (Internationalism) and jihad have created a special type of security-political plan in the Nordic societies.
Conclusion: The effect of norms (both in Nordic and Islamist) on behavior is important to drawing a security -normative map in the Nordic. Although there are common policies on interaction in the Nordic region, the outcome of the Nordic-Islamist normative confrontation is not necessarily interaction, including from policies of social exclusion to the prevention of radicalization of violence and social inclusion strategies.
