Abstract

Objective: With the onset of the Syrian crisis, each of the parties involved in the crisis, based on estimated costs and benefits, entered this war. After the interests of each of these powers became clear, they began to unite and form a front. Some alliances, such as the United States, Saudi Arabia, Salafist groups, etc., were in line with long-term and strategic goals. But on the opposite front, for the first time, Russia, Iran, and Turkey sided with each other, despite their past backgrounds; therefore, the author seeks to answer this main question: what are the components of the coalition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkey and Russia in the West Asian region and what will be the future of this coalition?
Method: The present case-study is based on analytical-explanatory as well as scenario writing and the contents are collected through the library method.
Results: The alliance of Turkey, Iran and Russia has been more than anything in the direction of natural unity (balance of power in the international and regional arena, loss of interests in Syria, expansion of activities and recognition of an effective player in the system Al-Mullah, etc.) that according to the central interest of this alliance, this alliance can be broken up based on a higher interest or even not so much benefit.
Conclusion: It can be said that the mentioned alliance is not based on a single discourse and ideology accepted by either party; rather, they joined the coalition solely on the basis of recognizing the benefits to each of the powers on the front. As a result, it is conceivable that if the interests of each of these three countries conflict, it can bring them face to face. Also, in the end, according to different scenarios, conclusions are made.
