Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze how tensions between Qatar and Saudi Arabia will affect the relations between other countries in the Persian Gulf and how important is the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this regard as a regional power?
Method: The present study is a descriptive-analytical study that has been conducted based on the library method using documents including books and articles, digital databases and Internet resources
Results: Tensions between neighboring countries in a region prone to many developments will have a significant impact on the approach of countries with interests. Changing the ideology of the GCC (Persian Gulf Cooperation Council) countries in their relations with each other, as well as degrading Saudi Arabia's position of power, are among the important effects of continuing tensions between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.Doha also defines a new interest for the continuation of grievances with Saudi Arabia to date indicates the ideological changes in the country.
Conclusion: Not all countries' ideological changes happen all at once and in a short period of time, and certainly at the expense of material and spiritual costs, there is a tendency in governments to change their ideology in line with the new interests they have defined for themselves.
