Abstract
One of the current concerns of the Muslim countries, how to deal with the phenomenon of globalization. Whether globalization can be a positive or negative change, what is certain is that this phenomenon is clearly the global system and the opportunities and threats created. The following topics are covered in this research: the roots of the idea ofglobalization are the root of globalization theory can be found in three schools: 1 - Realism.2 - liberals.3 - the modern world system. Dimensions of globalization, one in which the political, cultural and economic globalization are discussed. Effects of globalization: the consequences of globalization as a branch of the world, increasing the compression of time and space, the emergence of new paradigms and conceptual frameworks, to challenge tradition are examined.
