Abstract
Question about the existence of al-Qaeda, is the main goal of this study. Along this, the hypothesizes of this article is that combination of wahhabism with radical Islamic thoughts such as Seyyed Qutb, and radical interpretation of Islamic concept of Jihad (as mental factors), in reaction to the Islamic Revolution Of Iran and the occupation of Afghanistan by the Soviet Union in 1979 (as objective factors) has led the emergence of Al-Qaeda network; the product of this combination is called neo-wahhabism.
